There's a new sheriff in town...

This is the MFBE...or it WAS the MFBE. He has now acquired a new nickname for himself which I will now be referring to him. He will now be called the sheriff because he likes to police my life. Not in a crazy jealous boyfriend way, he just likes to correct me...a lot. How does he police my life you ask? Maybe my life is a little extreme...that would be something he would correct me about. I am an exaggerator, always have been, always will be. If something is 10 to me it's 1000, it's just how I am and it makes life and stories more interesting. However, the sheriff does not let me get away with exaggerating, he's always gotta be calling me out!!! Also, if you call him out on something i.e. not wearing a helmet while riding a bike, then he will call you out as well i.e. calling his sister out on not wearing a helmet...SUCH a little brother thing to do. I like to think of him as the speech police always correcting what I'm saying and how I'm saying it.

Better Late Than Never

So on August 2, 2008 my good friend Kristin and her husband got married. My best friend Sarah and I were both in the wedding. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the wedding.

Bachelorette Shananigans

Wow!!! It has been an extremely long time since posting about our life as of late. This has been one crazy summer. The MFBE has been kicking ass and taking names in summer school and I have just been workin. One of my really good friends from high school got married this summer and since I was one of the maids of honor I decided it was extremely appropriate to do a Vegas trip for the Bachelorette Party.

This is a picture of us ladies standing outside of the Wynn one of my favorite hotel/casinos on the strip...too bad I could never afford to stay there. However, we did go to Tryst which was one of my favorite nightclubs in Vegas.
Kristin, Sarah, Corinne, Heidi, and I all headed to Sin City and had a blast. During the day we lounged by the pool and attempted to survive the 116 degree days while entertaining ourselves with celebrity gossip magazines.

We decided on the last night that all of us ladies needed to go to a really nice dinner so we took Kristin out to Craft Steak which was amazing even though only one of us ate red meat.

The guys also went to Vegas the same weekend we did and it sounded like they has a lot of fun staying at Hooters. However, the ladies and I had a great time in our apartment at Treasure Island! :)

R.I.P. Leroi Moore

It has been brought to my attention this evening that the wonderful saxophonist that was Leroi Moore, one of the original members of the Dave Mathews Band has passed away. This saddens me because Dave Mathews Bands is one of my most favorite bands and he will be greatly missed.
